Traveling to and from the Eastside/Seattle just got a whole lot easier!
We’re celebrating the new Link Light Rail Crosslake Connection opening in the BelRed Arts District! For the first time ever, the light rail will officially cross the floating bridge - first of its kind in the world. Make a stop at the BelRed Light Rail Station where the BelRed Arts Studio and neighboring businesses will be hosting a collective celebration featuring:
Women’s History Month artist exhibition across all businesses
Painting pottery workshop at Pottery WA
Live music and art installation at Evolution Rehearsal Studio
Drum lesson drive and live drumming demonstration at West Coast Drum Shop
Isidro’s Mexican Food Truck
Coffee, tea and pastries from Copper Kettle Coffee Bar

In honor of the 100th anniversary of the formal national celebration of Black History Month in the U.S., we’re putting together an intimate exhibition centered around Black artists as culture-bearers, storytellers, and visionaries told in their own words and artistry. We’ll reflect and engage in dialogues about legacy, process and the future of Black creativity.
