We are actively working together to raise awareness about the District, build relationships and amplify local voices. We believe in the power of arts, culture and innovation to build community and to positively elevate and improve quality of life, community and the world in which we live.

Today, the BelRed Arts District is home to over 100 creative and cultural organizations. BelRed delivers a sense of excitement—against the backdrop of an industrial landscape, offering a unique blend of creativity and commerce. This lively neighborhood is rapidly becoming a destination for art enthusiasts, food lovers, and cultural explorers. By fostering an exciting arts community, we increase tourism, drive the local economy, and enrich the visitor experience. People come here to see more than just art—they come to be part of a vibrant, transformative environment.

2025 Milestones & Successes

  • PRODUCED FIRST BELRED ARTS NIGHT MARKET

    The first-ever BelRed Arts Night Market saw 500 attendees on one of the hottest days of the year! The event featured 42 local vendors, 10 performances, arts activations, food trucks and more for an immersive evening experience in the BelRed Arts District.

  • HOSTED COMMUNITY-LED PRIDE ARTWORK

    Partnered with Pride Across the Bridge for a community-led artwork installation to create a 200-foot-long progress pride flag in the BelRed Arts District. Over 20 people participated — a wonderful way to create a welcoming environment in the Arts District for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

  • SUPPORTED 65+ LOCAL ARTISTS AND CREATIVES

    We platformed 65+ local artists through arts and cultural-related events, activations, programming and activities. We are proud to continue providing paid opportunities for artists, offering spaces to showcase work and building the creative growth needed to develop a thriving and sustainable Arts District.

  • OPENED THE BELRED ARTS STUDIO

    We are so happy to officially introduced Bellevue’s newest community arts and cultural facility, the BelRed Arts Studio! This space offers 6 affordable artist work studios and a welcoming gathering area designed for arts and cultural activations that give the community a reason to gather and meet local artists in the area.

  • As a physical space, the BelRed Arts District is a neighborhood hub for artists, creative businesses, and arts and cultural experiences that help foster their success and increase visitation and support of the arts. The Arts District is distinguished through innovative, creative, and unique public art, historical connections, and signage. And the BelRed Arts District Community Alliance supports arts and culture wherever it happens in BelRed. We help to coordinate partnerships, alliances, and communications to foster the promotion, and experience of art in all its forms.
