Our Story

introducing the Belred arts district

Did you know the BelRed Arts District has the highest concentration of arts and cultural organizations and artists in Bellevue?  Many of these arts organizations big and small are hidden within gritty, post-industrial warehouses, aging commercial spaces and older strip malls reminiscent of the 60s and 70s era. The eclectic mix of arts and cultural, and supportive creative economy businesses bring thousands to the area. As a direct, connective pipeline to artists and cultural experiences regionally, they fuel our arts education, unify our community, and sparks creativity and innovation far and wide.  These treasures are the wellspring for creative expression and are vital to our region’s arts and culture ecosystem.

The BelRed Arts District is located in Bellevue Washington as part of the greater BelRed’s 900-acre area that is conveniently located between Bellevue downtown and Redmond. The area houses and is surrounded by tech giants, innovation hubs, and major employment centers.  The opening of the EastLink transit line connecting a greater part of the eastside is anticipated to come as soon as 2024/2025. This will offer interconnectivity that our region has never seen before.  Growth and transformation are on the way.
