BelRed Arts District Debuts Inaugural Night Market

Live music, art vendors, creative businesses, and food trucks converge August 23 in Bellevue’s arts district neighborhood.

The BelRed Arts District Community Alliance is proud to present its inaugural BelRed Arts Night Market on Friday, August 23, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the BelRed Light Rail Station parking lot located between 130th and 132nd Avenues NE at NE Spring Boulevard .

This free community event is conveniently located along Sound Transit’s 2 Line, with easy access for attendees. More information can be found at:  www.belredartsdistrict.org /belred-arts-night-market

As the first major event of its kind in the BelRed Arts District, the Night Market will transform Sound Transit’s transportation station into a free, bustling outdoor arts celebration for all ages, featuring live concerts, food trucks, artist activations, and a curated lineup of over 30 local arts and culture vendors. The BelRed Arts Night Market invites the public to discover homemade pottery, handstitched bags and clothing, thoughtfully crafted jewelry, original paintings and more.

“This is more than a market—it’s a moment for the BelRed Arts District,” said Sandy Vo, Executive Director of the BelRed Arts District Community Alliance. “We’re building a space where neighbors, artists, and businesses can connect organically and experience the creative energy that’s shaping this neighborhood.”

Headlining the stage is Vic Daggs II, a rising Seattle-based hip hop artist and storyteller known for his soulful lyricism and dynamic live presence. He is a proud alum of Macklemore’s Residency program and mentored by Black Stax’s Jace Ecaj, and also carries the musical legacy of his great-great-great uncle, jazz legend Floyd Standifer. Vic’s performance will cap off a full evening of regional talent, including Tacoma-based artist DJQJ, Emerald Ballet Theatre, K-pop dance group KOSMIX, and more.

This event marks a milestone for the BelRed Arts District Community Alliance, a newly formed nonprofit dedicated to leading the strategic and sustainable growth of the Arts District in Bellevue. This Bellevue Night Market represents the first of many initiatives that will highlight the creative vibrancy and potential of this rapidly transforming district.

The BelRed Arts Night Market is made possible through generous support from presenting partners Amazon, City of Bellevue, Sound Transit, supporting partners Puget Sound Energy, Su Development and friends of BelRed Arts Night Market, The Painted Palace, Republic Services, and Theatre33. This project was also supported, in part, by a grant from 4Culture.
